The Municipality of Rio de Janeiro, with the aim of making urban slum areas to the tourist attractions,
opened the first Museum of Favela. The Museum of Favela is a museum of slums in the open air, located in
Cantagalo favela, which is located between two popular beaches of Rio de Janeiro- Ipanema and Copacabana.
Tourists will be able to meet dozens of buildings with wall works of local artists, to such popular
these places topics such as samba and capoeira, telling about the life and traditions of people, living in favelas.
