Today Spyker Cars NV (Spyker), which owns the Swedish company Saab Automobile AB, froze into a strategic partnership
with Chinese automaker Hawtai Motor Group Company Limited (Hawtai).
By the end of 2010 financial results of Saab were deplorable, and in April 2011 the automaker's assembly
line to stop altogether because of debts to suppliers. Hawtai Motor Group had intended to promote the Swedish brand
into the Chinese market, and instead relied on access to new technologies, that can help her become a global automaker.
The transaction amount in the medium term was to be more than € 150 million of them- € 120 million, China intends to invest
in Saab, to increase its stake in the company to 29.9%. Another € 30 million Hawtai Motor gave a convertible loan
for six months at an interest rate of 7% per annum.
The strategic partnership of the company includes co-production, technology development and distribution of automobiles.
Although was reported, that the formal reason for denial- China has not provided all the necessary documents
for collaboration, there are indications, that the real reason for the denial- an unwillingness to share technology
with the Chinese automaker.

from Saab, which found application in the design of Saab cars. While the deal with Hawtai Motor Group just frozen,
and most likely, that Hawtai Motor Group, or another Chinese automaker will soon try again to buy a stake in Saab.
