Sigiriya Fortress (Lion's rock) is one of the main attractions of Sri Lanka and is a restored ruins of an ancient fortress and palace, located in the district of Matale. Fortress is a very popular destination among tourists from all over the world, because it is famous for its ancient frescoes, which are very similar to Indian frescoes of Ajanta caves.
