Sanya City is the city of China, located in the southern tropical Hainan Island, at a latitude of the Hawaiian Islands. Through the city of Sanya flows of three rivers, they also fall into the sea, their delta is similar to the Chinese character "San". Therefore, the word "Sanya" means: "a merger of 3 rivers".

The area of Sanya city is 1,919.6 km, the marine coastline stretched along the city at 209.1 km. On the shoreline are several ports:  Sanya port, Nanshan port. Major bays:  Sanya Bay, Yalong Bay, Dadonghai and several other bays, the infrastructure which only creates, there are about 40 islands.

 Sanya City is located in the tropics, there are always plenty of sun, a long summer without winter. Sanya attracts tourists of tropical fruits and landscapes. Sanya is the most famous in  China tourist city.

In the city of Sanya is a tropical monsoon climate, annual average temperature 25 Celsius, 300 days of sunshine each year, there is not winter and the eternal summer reigns. Clean air, there are not industrial enterprises and  Sanya tourist area ranked first in China and second in the world. In 1999, the International Organization of Environmental Protection has tested air quality in 158 cities of 48 countries. For clean air, Sanya won first place in China and second place in the world .
