Group IBM X-Force has prepared the 2011 Mid-Year Trend and Risk Report. The report is informed about the global changes in the status of information security of technical devices, a feature now - is the predominance of hacker attacks on mobile devices. According to the X-Force, the number of hacker attacks has tripled since the beginning of 2011, therefore, according to X-Force, the 2011 deserves to be called the “Year of the Security Breach”. Particular attention should be paid to the increasing the number of hacker attacks on mobile devices, resulting from continued growth in the number of vulnerabilities of mobile devices and the prevalence of smartphones and tablet PCs. Therefore, experts from X-Force recommend to use special anti-virus software to protect mobile devices against hackers.
