Today, on the Sixth Moscow Festival of Science, Yuri Oganessian, scientific director of the Laboratory of nuclear reactions of the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR), said, that the synthesis of a chemical element 119 will begin in 2013 in the Russian Joint Institute for Nuclear Research in Dubna, Russia. Earlier in the JINR for the first time in the world in a special accelerator, have been synthesized superheavy chemical elements with atomic numbers from 113do 118, which however did not last long, as the superheavy chemical elements have of low stability.
