Vegetables and fruits reduce the genetic risk of heart diseases |

A team of researchers from Canada, led by Jamie Engert and Sonia Anand found, that eating of fresh vegetables, fruits and berries can reduce the risk of heart diseases, caused by a genetic predisposition to heart diseases. The analysis of diets of several tens of thousands of people found, that people with a genetic predisposition for heart diseases, but which regularly used a lot of vegetables, fruits and berries, aching of heart disease are not more likely, than those people, which did not have a genetic predisposition to heart diseases.
