The American company Kimberly-Clark Corp., the manufacturer of disinfectants, conducted a analysis on the degree of contamination of potentially dangerous
bacteria on the most common things of common usage. The analysis was conducted in six U.S. cities: Atlanta, Dallas, Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago and
Philadelphia. The study found, that the most potentially dangerous bacteria was found on the arms of gas columns (71%), followed by: handles mailboxes
(68%), handrails of escalators (43%), keyboard of ATMs (41%), on the buttons to activate the green light for pedestrians at traffic lights (35%), vending
machine buttons (35%).
