A group of Russian scientists from the Oceanographic Institute of Russia and the Russian Institute of Computational Mathematics from
Russian Academy of Sciences predicts the abnormally great anomalous coldness in entire Northern hemisphere. According to Nicholas Diansky,
Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences and oceanographer, based on many years of research of water salinity in the North Atlantic -
anomalous cooling in the Northern Hemisphere will arise when the salt water of the warm Gulf Stream
moved deeper, as in the near future more and more fresh water will flow into
the North Atlantic through the Canadian and Greenland Straits. Because of this, perhaps as a change in the direction of the warm
Gulf Stream, which warms Europe, and a significant decrease in the magnitude of the Gulf Stream, induced by
inflow into the North Atlantic of large masses of fresh water, formed by the massive melting of ice in the Arctic,
as the salt water of the warm Gulf Stream, due to greater density, will be under a layer of cold water,
coming from the Arctic, that could result in the reduction of the Gulf Stream and the emergence of new, but the cold current,
that will not warm and will cool of air not only in Europe, but over the whole of Northern Hemisphere.
