As reported the press service of the Humboldt University in California- Clara Lazen, ten-year girl from
Kansas City, USA accidentally discovered a chemical with a previously unknown molecular structure during the
regular school lesson. As reported, Clara Lazen attends a regular high school and
on one of the lessons the children were instructed chemistry models to collect molecules of chemical substances with colored beads and
rods, connecting them to the molecular structure. Chemistry teacher Kenneth Boehr noted, that the design, collected by
Claire Leisen, is very unusual, but plausible, therefore, the chemistry teacher sent a letter to Bob Zoellner, who is a professor of chemistry, who
reported, that the structure, created by Clara is
similar to the structure of tetranitrate oxycarbonyl, but has the some other links, that may actually exist, are already forming
a new chemical compound which, presumably, can be used as a new type of explosives. An article about the
opening of the new material was sent to the Computational and Theoretical Chemistry, where as co-author of the opening indicated the Clara Lazen.
