According to the Meteorological Agency of Japan, just two earthquakes with magnitude over than 5 occurred on June 30,
2011 almost at
one place in Nagano Prefecture of Japan, although initially reported about three earthquakes in one place with
magnitude over than 5. The first earthquake of magnitude 5.4 occurred at 8:21 am (local time), its
epicenter was near the city of Matsumoto in Nagano Prefecture. The second earthquake of magnitude 5.1
occurred at 8:25 am, its epicenter was also near the city of Matsumoto.
According to Japanese news agency Kyodo, at least seven people have been injured by the earthquakes
in Matsumoto. After that, near this place were a few earthquakes with a magnitude of up to 3.
