According to Sergey Kostenko, president of the Russian company Orbital Technologies, Russia will create on the Earth's orbit the Commercial Space Station (CSS), one of the blocks which will be used as the first space hotel. It is assumed, that the first hotel in space will have four rooms, where can live up to 7 people. Space hotel will be equipped with special showers, space tourists will have a special meal, adapted for use in space. To reach the hotel, the space tourists can use a rocket Soyuz , the proposed price of one week stay in a space hotel – is about $ 60 millions. Other blocks of a Commercial Space Station will be used as a laboratories for scientific researches, which will be leased to private corporations, which will conduct on-orbit scientific experiments.
