According to NASA, instruments on board of Mars rovers Opportunity and Curiosity found a dust storm at a distance of 1,500 km away, which covered almost half of the southern hemisphere of Mars. NASA scientists track the development of the dust storm with the orbiting probe MRO (Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter). According to Rich Zurek from Jet Propulsion Laboratory of NASA, a dust storm moved from the plain of Utopia in the northern hemisphere of Mars to the southern hemisphere of Mars, the total area of the dust storm is currently about 10.4 million square kilometers. But also seen a signs of weakening this dust storm, which means, that this dust storm will not become a global dust storm, which in 1971 observed on Mars by orbiter "Mariner-9", but dust storms of this magnitude last recorded on Mars only in 2001 and in 2007, THE VIDEO: http://hainanwel.com/en/unusual-world/2 ... storm.html
