On June 28, 2012 in Kannur, Kerala, India, for 15 minutes fell very unusual rainfalls- rain of bright red color. On the roads of the city Kannur red puddles formed, and the clothes of passers instantly blushed. Local residents were very disturbed by this, as they have previously witnessed red rain, this natural disaster has occurred in India in 2001 (see the video). This phenomenon was first recorded in the state of Kerala, India, a few hours after the fall meteors in July 2001, so, Godfrey Louis astrobiologist at the Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) suggested, that the rain was colored red because of fine dust collected on the ground of fragments of the comet. During the laboratory analysis, the study of samples of red rain water have been found a strange fluorescence properties, which are emitted by cellular structures, like mitochondria. Godfrey Louis believe in extraterrestrial origin of these cellular structures, that stained the water red because comets may have a hot core of water and chemicals, which can be such a microorganism and cell structure. According to Godfrey Louis, these "extra-terrestrial" cellular structures resemble normal cells, but they have not DNA molecules, however, these cells are also biochemical processes and cellular structures of the red rain can withstand very high temperatures, up to almost 300 degrees Celsius. However, it is unclear how they can interact with conventional forms of life on Earth. THE VIDEO:
