Chief physician of the hospital, in which the number of 50-year-old doctor, said that he had repeatedly tried to return the missing doctor in the workplace, but could not because all the absences were within the law. Sicilian, in turn, said that he was unjustly accused of shirking from work. According to him, when he comes back, he received only knowledge will benefit the hospital.

Despite the claims of the physician, the situation in Italy is considered as an example of the ineffectiveness of thousands of Italian civil servants who find loopholes in the law to evade work. Given the evidence the authorities have launched an investigation.
