Sale of gasoline and diesel vehicles on Hainan Island, China will be banned in 2030

Currently, Hainan Province has built a total of 775 charging stations, 10 replacement power stations and will build a total of 18,000 charging stations by 2030, including 8,790 public charging stations. At the same time, as part of the implementation of a differentiated policy of preferences for the management of vehicle traffic on new energy sources, the province has created more than 1,500 special parking spaces for vehicles on new energy sources, established green channels for registration of vehicles on new energy sources, and provided preferential fees for parking vehicles on new energy sources.

 

Hainan will showcase high-quality new energy vehicle retail innovation projects, international brand launches, user reviews, high-end competitions, and more, to create a "World New Energy Vehicle Research Center".
