From December 13 to December 15, 2019, the 2019 Fitness Games Championship was held in Haikou. The theme of the National Fitness Games is “Getting Together for National Fitness” - a mass sports event with the highest technical requirements, the largest number of participants and the most complete set of projects in Hainan. There were 19 cities and districts in the province, 21 divisions participated in the registration, in which 1 925 athletes, 365 coaches, team leaders, more than 700 judges, 300 employees and volunteers took part, and a total of more than 3290 people took part in the Games.

The competitions of these Games are rich in content, new in form, attractive, very attractive, interesting and moderately difficult to manage. Unlike traditional competitions, ordinary people, as well as domestic and foreign tourists can also show their skills and participate.

Competitions included basketball, volleyball for nine, air volleyball, indoor soccer, table tennis, badminton, tennis, billiards, gateball, chess, go, tai chi (sword), aerobics (dance), fitness qigong, shooting archery, darts, rollerblading, swimming, windsurfing, tug of war with five ropes and a fitness area. 10 fitness rings include a 30-second jump rope, push-ups, squats, long jumps, pull-ups, soccer dribbling and throwing hard balls. Competitions were held in Haikou Wanluyuan, the University of Hainan, the Hainan Sports and Technical College and other regions and places.

 These games were hosted by the People’s Government of Hainan Province and the People’s Governments of the cities, counties and autonomous regions, the Yangpu Economic Development Zone Management Committee and the Hainan Provincial Tourism and Culture Department.

The organizers of this event did not provide an opportunity for HAINANWEL.COM representatives to attend this event for free, and for our own money we are not able to buy tickets and give more details about this event, post photos and videos.
