The Hainan Province International Exhibition and Convention Center is one of the main projects to build a free trade zone in Haikou, with a total planned investment of 2.019 billion yuan and an investment of 1.4 billion yuan already completed. The project will be completed and put into operation in early 2020.

“The height of the International Exhibition and Conference Center of Hainan Province is 44 meters, and the span is 60 meters. Our steel construction project is currently the largest in Hainan, ”said Shi Zhiquan. The second phase of the Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Center has a total built-up area of about 198,000 square meters. m. The first floor of the exhibition hall is a single-span building with a single-span steel structure, and an underground parking lot is connected to the first phase. The design architecture of the project is based on a seagull with spread wings.
Steel project engineer Yang Jiyong said the building’s frame is made of a special steel structure. It has a design of a curved surface with a large span, which consists of curved and torsion elements with a double bend.
