Asian Forum in Boao was opened in 2021 on Hainan Island, China

The Boao Forum for Asia, also known as East Davos, is the world's largest discussion platform for government, business and industry representatives to meet and discuss pressing economic, social and other global issues.


The participants of the Boao Forum for Asia are 29 countries: Australia, Bangladesh, Brunei, Vietnam, Israel, India, Indonesia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Cambodia, Kyrgyzstan, China, Republic of Korea, Laos, Malaysia, Republic of Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, New Zealand, Pakistan, Singapore, Tajikistan, Thailand, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Philippines, Sri Lanka and Japan.


The Boao Forum for Asia 2021 is held on the island of Hainan, China under the motto "Peace in Transformation: Join Forces for Global Governance and Cooperation on the Belt and Road Initiative", participants will focus on promoting effective multilateralism in the aftermath of the pandemic. Among the participants - the Saudi petrochemical giant Sabic, the South Korean corporations Samsung and SK Group, the British-Swedish pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca, about 2 thousand people will take part in the forum.


The Boao Forum for Asia 2021 kicked off with a press conference at which the organizers presented two reports on the economic situation and key development trends in Asia for 2020.
