The Russian Customs Service announced that from August 19, 2019, in baggage and hand luggage, passengers will be able to import into Russia no more than 5 kilograms of vegetables and fruits, as well as up to three bouquets of any color, without phytosanitary certificates.
All restrictions are set for individuals to import this regulated products in the form of any fruits, flowers, vegetables. Phytosanitary certificates are required to transport larger quantities of fruits, flowers, and vegetables. In case of their absence, the products will be destroyed, and the owner will pay for it.
The new rules apply to passengers of all types of transport, members of the crew of trains, aircraft and ships that will cross the border of all countries of the Eurasian Economic Union, and not just Russia, this also applies to mail items.
